We are metropolitan Atlanta's premier training academy for adult learners interested in Emergency Medical Services and Public Safety. We provide EMS education based upon the National EMS Education Standards and the National EMS Scope of Practice Model.
We also provide continuing education for EMS personnel and other allied healthcare employees in the form of refresher training and required American Heart Association certification courses. Our instructors are friendly, highly trained and skilled professionals with a variety of experience in education along with an extensive clinical background. The classes taught at Hippocrates' EMS Academy utilize a variety of instructional methods throughout the didactic learning by using PowerPoint augmented lecture format, video mediated learning as well as hands-on skills practice in order to target all adult learning types. HEMA's programs cater to the needs of the student regardless of their level of education or experience.
